Grand Rapids, MI is set to welcome the Acrisure Amphitheater’s first-ever performer, as Grammy-nominated rapper MGK headlines the riverfront stage on June 17, 2026.
This 12,000-capacity venue signals a new era for downtown entertainment, anchoring the ambitious 31-acre riverfront redevelopment at 201 Market Ave. SW.
With $184 million invested, construction hit a milestone in March 2025 when crews placed the final steel beam atop the amphitheater’s vast canopy.
The project will transform the riverfront with 10 acres of green space, new recreation opportunities, retail, and over 1,700 housing units.
Agreements with Live Nation and ASM Global promise a steady stream of high-profile acts, positioning Grand Rapids as a top Midwest destination.
MGK’s appearance follows his acclaimed album “Lost Americana,” underscoring the city’s growing reputation for bold, diverse live music. This striking new venue is set to energize the city’s cultural heartbeat for years to come.
